It's never before been so easy, and yet so difficult, to learn about data science. Easy because so much information is at our fingertips, yet difficult because of hype, mis-information, and lack of trusted resources. I'm trying to help in three ways:
I create a variety of free educational content, from interactive video lectures to Jupyter notebooks.
I create open source software packages in Python, such as StructureBoost and ML-Insights.
I'm active in publishing papers, most recently in AISTATS 2020. These serve as academic references for the software packages.
